Reflexology is a calm, relaxing holistic therapy that may help to ease emotional or physical stress. Regular treatments may also help:
Infertility can be an emotionally exhausting, not to mention expensive, condition. 1 in 6 couples have trouble conceiving, miscarriages are increasingly common, sperm rates are falling and hormonal disorders are on the increase.
An increasing number of women believe that reflexology has helped them conceive and some Gynaecologists are now suggesting it before fertility drugs and some in conjunction with fertility treatment.
Anxiety over fertility can become all encompassing and this may also affect your ability to conceive. The longer the situation carries on, the more desperate the person becomes, the greater the stress and the inability to conceive can then be triggered. Reflexology aims to aid the body to normalise itself, resulting in a rebalanced body that may be more receptive to pregnancy, it may also quieten the mind and help the body return to homeostasis.

Yes, although always check with your clinic first. However, it is recommended that after embryo transfer you postpone further treatments until you are 12+ weeks pregnant.
